The two series are about two worlds. One that was so much desired in my childhood and those times, and the other that was just as much
rejected. (Or the other way around? Nevermind.)
Two unforeseen opportunities - a scholarship and an exhibition made it possible for me to get to these places. While I was visiting these two
cities, even though for just a short time, I managed to capture some of their unique moments. Later I transformed these moments into pictures
and then to series.
The two series are about two worlds. Two worlds that I experienced as a grown-up man and recorded with my documentarist approach. One
that I reject for some reason, and the other that I desire for some other reason.
