Our requirements and ideals concerning our own body are subject to frequent changes. That is why we sometimes feel as if we should need different bodies for different roles. The requirement regarding our own body, namely to obey and adapt its functions and forms according to the given situations is reinforced.
The members of our studio, together with the volunteers, plan the proper object (object of identification), prosthesis, situation, wich is made on site according to the dimension required by the customer, then photographing this “separated model”.
The members of the studio (the artists Tibor Gyenis and Krisztian Vollmuth and the psychiatrist Zsolt Zalka) not only consider the volunteers as models, but hope that through common thinking more can be said about the relationship between the image and the self.
